Manchester United Play Another Bore Draw

Spread the love

Manchester United were in need of three points against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening but could only leave Selhurst Park with one, in a further blow to their already faint Premier League title hopes.

Manchester City were 15 points clear of their rivals prior to the game, and United could only reduce that deficit to one as they struggled to create any real opportunities against a resolve Palace side.

That said, Palace weren’t much of a threat themselves and weren’t able to muster a single shot on target in the first half.

Palace’s first real chance came when Jordan Ayew fired straight at Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson. While at the other end Bruno Fernandes failed to make any impact.
