Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid squad believe they can win the double, and with good reason as not only have they been in dominant form, but they also will receive an economic boost if they achieve both the Champions League and LaLiga.
Not since 1958 have Los Blancos won both those trophies in the same campaign, but they’ll be confident in their chances this time around.
The squad however prefers to include the FIFA Club World Cup already lifted in Japan when talking about this year’s trophy haul.
Last season, Real were awarded 700,000 euros each for their European conquest and 100,000 for winning at the Camp Nou in the late stages of their push for LaLiga.
Because of how difficult a challenge it is, this time club directors have doubled that sum.
An agreement is expected to be reached shortly.
