Liverpool got back on track in the Premier League with a 2-0 win over bottom club Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Jurgen Klopp’s side had lost their previous four Premier League matches before their trip to Yorkshire and almost fell behind to their hosts.

Ozan Kabak would’ve been happy for his first half own goal to be chalked off when Oliver McBurnie was caught offside.

The Reds took the lead at the start of the second period when Curtis Jones found a way past Aaron Ramsdale after Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross.

Roberto Firmino was decisive in Liverpool’s second goal, having the shot that was deflected into his own net by Kean Bryan.

The win moves Klopp’s men to within two points of West Ham in the Champions League places in the Premier League. Sheffield United stay bottom on just 11 points.
