LG Poll: LASIEC Declares APC Candidate Winner Ward C2 Ifako Ijaye
In a landslide victory, the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC at about 10: 05.PM today, declared the All Progressives Congress, APC, Councillorship candidate, Ibrahim Adenekan, winner in the July 24 Local Government poll in Ifako Ijaiye local government, Lagos.
Ibrahim defeated his closest rival, Mr Stephen Osadolor of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with a wide margin of 556 votes.
After painstakingly collating the results, LASIEC Ward Returning Officer, Mrs Yeside Olabode declared that having polled 620 votes, Ibrahim Adenekan of the APC has been returned as the winner in the exercise.
She announced that Osadolor of the PDP, polled 64 votes in the contest conducted across the 15 polling units of the ward.
The APC Councillorship candidate won all the 15 polling units of the ward.
