Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will be sidelined until March due to damage in the ligaments of his left ankle.
The England international picked up the injury during Spurs’ 1-0 home defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.
“[Kane] will continue to be monitored by our medical staff as he commences rehabilitation and is expected to return to training in early March,” announced the club.
In addition, Kane won’t be able to feature in the Carabao Cup final or the next knockout stage of the FA Cup, should Tottenham manage to qualify.
He has scored 20 goals in 31 matches in all the tournaments so far this season.
