Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League tie with Monaco is in doubt after a confirmed explosion by the team bus that is said to have wounded Marc Bartra.
The former Barcelona man has reportedly been taken to hospital after being cut by glass from the impact. Early indications are that damage was done to Bartra’s arm and that he’s shaken but not in a serious condition, with no others affected.
The father of Mikel Merino, the other Spanish footballer of Borussia Dortmund who was inside the bus, told Carrusel Deportivo that the players felt three objects hit the team bus.

“My son was on the bus, he was not scared, the obecjts have blown glass and the worst part was taken by Batra, two obejcts exploded from behind, Bartra has damaged his arm,” he explained with police confirming the three hits.
The explosion occurred at the team hotel, 10 kilometres from the stadium, as seen above.
The club have confirmed the quarter-final first leg to be delayed by a day, and will take place at 18:45 CET on Wednesday.

“Bomb explosion on the team bus at the team hotel. Players in security. No danger at the stadium,” tweeted the official BVB social media, with police also confirming the situation.
“Please keep quiet. Currently, the crisis staff are in the stadium. We will inform you as soon as there’s news.”
