Inter have moved four points ahead of city rivals AC Milan in Serie A, with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez scoring the goals in a 3-0 victory for Antonio Conte’s side.

It took just five minutes for Inter to strike first, with Lukaku eventually managing to find Lautaro in the box and with the Argentine heading past Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Although both sides had chances in the remainder of the first half, it was AC Milan who came out flying at the beginning of the second period and Samir Handanovic had to make two great saves to deny Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as well as stopping a Sandro Tonali shot.

After weathering that storm, Inter then doubled their lead in the 57th minute as an Ivan Periic cut back was tapped in by Lautaro against the run of play.

Just nine minutes later, it was 3-0 as Lukaku drove forward and finished well to make Inter’s lead in the match even more comfortable.

Their lead at the top of the table has grown now too, as the Nerazzurri now have a four-point lead over AC Milan as they continue their quest for their first Scudetto since 2009/10.
