Inter’s march towards the Serie A title was halted a little on Wednesday as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Spezia.

The hosts took the lead when Diego Farias thumped a shot past Samir Handanovic from the edge of the penalty area.

Antonio Conte’s side found an equaliser before the break, with Ivan Perisic poking the ball past Ivan Provedel at the second attempt.

The draw leaves Inter 10 points clear of second-place AC Milan in the Serie A table.
