Government Cannot Solve All Our Problems, … 800 Jobs Up For Grab – Delight Owoyemi, President Oyo Mega Trade Fair

The Oyo Mega
Trade Fair 2013 which is theme: MANUFACTURING OPPORTUNITIES IN SENSITIZING THE
NIGERIAN ECONOMY FOR INVESTMENT EVOLUTION, which is to sensitize the Nigerian
economy for investment using opportunities in the manufacturing industry will
provide nothing less than 800 jobs during and after the trade fair this summer
in Nigeria.

The
President of the Oyo Mega Trade Fair Mr Delight Owoyemi has advised Nigerians
not to rely on government, that government alone cannot solved Nigeria problem
“no government anywhere in the world can provide all the needs of a society
alone any longer’’. Owoyemi said.

Explain
further that this year trade fair will bring employment to nothing less than
800 graduates for the citizens of this country to add to 20,000 Oyo State
Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has provided for people of the state “the Oyo
Mega Trade Fair will orchestrate the recruitment of none less than 800
graduates by the companies that will be participating at the fair in August.
This will further compliment the recent job creation scheme of Senator Abiola
Ajimobi which provided jobs for some 20,000 youths in the State’’ said Owoyemi.

He also
embark on the issue of preparation, that there’s no fear for security reason as
enough security would be put in place before, during and after the fair
 “adequate preparation is going on in the state for marketing, publicity,
security’’ said Owoyemi.

According to
him, that in time of accommodation and transportation the home and foreign
investors would enjoy their stay in Ibadan, Oyo state, South-West, Nigeria. “as
a one of the largest city in Africa, home and foreign investors coming to our
state are all welcome as accommodation, transportation, are putting in place
for their stay in Nigeria and most importantly, flashy strategies to drive
about 300,000 visitors to attend this fair holding in the ancient city of
Ibadan well known for hospitality’’ Owoyemi said.

The Trade
Fair which is designed to showcase and promote locally made products in Nigeria
will bring together an array of indigenous manufacturers, government agencies
and companies from across the geo-political regions in Nigeria to showcase
their products, generate leads, increase visibility and interact with customers
and buyers, with more than 1000 corporate organizations, government agencies,
trade associations, marketing consultants, foreign participants; and over
300,000 visitors, Oyo Mega Trade Fair is envisioned to be the largest domestic
trade fair in Nigeria.

The event
that will take place for 10 days will encourage partnerships, joint venture
initiatives, and improvement in quality goods production, packaging and service
delivery and further enhance cooperation between Oyo State, manufacturers and
other stakeholders from home and abroad.

Oyo Mega Trade Fair 2013 will
equally encourage local content development; facilitate Trade interactions;
showcase small and medium Enterprise (SME) potentials for co-operation; and
equally promote non-oil products and services for export with a view to promoting
competitiveness and recognition in the global market.
