France Ease Past Ireland With Goals From Giroud, Fekir
France had a comfortable 2-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland with goals from Giroud and Fekir in the World Cup warm up match.
Giroud equalled the 31 goals by Zinedine Zidane for France, when he got the opener and Fekir built on the advantage. They continued to dominate after the break and substitute Paul Pogba went closest to adding to the advantage but he failed to hit the back of the net.
France play their final preparation match against Australia on June 16th.
