Nigeria Reports 3 Fatalities, 238 New Infections

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased to 160,895 as 238 new cases and 3 new deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Monday, 15th of March 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 145,752 cases have been discharged and 2,016 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 17 states, having Lagos as the highest with 72 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Kwara had 28, Bauchi-19, Kaduna-19, Edo-17, Ogun-15, Nasarawa-13, Rivers-10.
Other states include: FCT-9, Ondo-8,Akwa Ibom-5, Gombe-5, Niger-5, Osun-5, Plateau-4, Oyo-3 and Kano-1.
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
