The Deputy-Governor elect of Lagos state, Dr Obafemi Hamzat will on Sunday April 7, deliver the 19th annual public lecture of Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy Muslim Graduates Association (UNIFEMGA) Lagos state branch.
In a statement by the chapter chairman, Alhaji Goke Adeyemi said the event will hold at the Banquet Hall of Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos from 10 am.
Hamzat, according to the statement, will discuss on “”Human Development Energy and Enabling Infrastructure- Imperatives for sustainable Economic Growth and Inclusive National Development.”
The public lecture will be chaired by Mr Kolawole Ayanwale, Chief Executive Officer Centrespread Advertising Limited while Alhaji Suleiman Abubakar, Managing Director of Sterling Bank Plc is one of the Panelists.
Other Panelists include Alhaji Abdulkabir Aliu, Managing Director Matrix Energy Limited and Mr Ayodeji Balogun, Country Manager, AFEX Nigeria Limited.
Other expected guests are the chairman of UNIFEMGA Board of Trustees, Alhaji Rafiu Ebiti and past chairmen of the Association.
The statement added that other chapters of UNIFEMGA and Islamic groups and personalities within Lagos and its environs are equally expected to grace the public lecture.
The public lecture is an annual programme of the association aimed at raising public awareness on issues of national interest.
