As for the Asian confederation, Heung-min Son led the list ahead of Keisuke Honda and Salem Al Dawsari, while Homare Sawa, Sam Kerr and Saki Kumagai were the best Asian women’s players.
Mohamed Salah leads the way in Africa ahead of Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez, while Barcelona’s Asisat Oshoala was the best women’s player for CAF.
