Rashford Rescues A Win As Manchester United Beat Wolves Late On

Manchester United’s unbeaten run in the Premier League extended to six games on Tuesday as a last-gasp Marcus Rashford winner saw them past Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

The Englishman’s fine off-field work has been well documented over the last few months, but this time it was his teammates who needed a helping hand and he duly delivered late on after what hadn’t been his best game for the Red Devils.

Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio was man of the match and he was at his best to keep the hosts out, most notably from Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes. At the other end, David de Gea was on hand to keep Wolves themselves out.

Edinson Cavani looked to have won it late on himself, but saw his close-range effort ruled out for offside and, in the very end, it was Rashford who bagged the winner with a heavily-deflected strike.
