Prominent British CEO Cousins And Family Killed In Sydney Plane Crash

A British family killed in a plane crash in Sydney, have been named as Richard Cousins, Emma Bowden, and their three children.
Divers recovered six bodies from the scene of the seaplane crash yesterday and an investigation was launched.

The victims were today identified as the couple, as well as Mr Cousins’ two sons William, 25, and Edward, 23, and Ms Bowden’s daughter, Heather, 11.

The sixth person who died was named as Australian pilot Gareth Morgan, 44, who worked for tour company Sydney Seaplanes. He was said to have been an experienced pilot.

Mr Cousins, 58, was CEO of FTSE 100 company Compass Group the world’s largest catering company.

Police said the group were on holiday in Australia from the UK, and were on a return flight to Sydney’s Rose Bay, close to Sydney Harbour, when the crash happened.
