The Champions League semi-final match-ups have been confirmed as we come to the end of one of the most surprising tournaments in recent years.

Tottenham will contest their first Champions League semi against an Ajax side who have thrilled Europe with their youth and enthusiasm.

Barcelona and Liverpool came through their quarter-finals against Manchester United and Porto, respectively, and will play for the other place in June’s final at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.

Tottenham will host Ajax in the first leg at their new stadium on April 30, while Liverpool will travel to the Camp Nou on May 1.

The second legs will be played a week later, with Liverpool welcoming Barcelonato Anfield on May 7, and Spurs travelling to Amsterdam to play Ajax on May 8.

Barcelona will come up against a Liverpool team who have one eye on a Premier League title race with Manchester City while Ernesto Valverde‘s side already have LaLiga Santander in the bag.

The final is set for June 1 at the Wanda Metropolitano as the European crown will be decided in Spain for the first time in nine years.
