Bet9ja Staff Commit Suicide In Bayelsa After Loosing #150, 000 Of Company’s Money Playing Virtual
A young boy who hails from Nembe LGA of Bayelsa State allegedly committed suicide. His lifeless body was discovered on Thursday.
He allegedly poisoned himself with Sniper insecticide after using his boss’ money worth N150,000 naira to play bet9ja virtual games, popularly called “Ogbu ngwa ngwa meaning it kills quicker than normal football matches”.
The Virtual game, this blog gathered last less than two minutes and you either win or loose. It’s said to be controlled by computers as programmed.
He runs a Bet9ja Shop for his boss in Bassambiri Nembe, Bayelsa State and the money he used to play the virtual bets was meant for the day’s work.
Not knowing how to explain the situation to his boss led him committing suicide, increasing the number of people who died from betting and gambling losses since last year in Bayelsa to three.
Meanwhile, concerned punters on hearing the news said, “Avoid gambling if you can’t endure it’s uncertain consequences.”
