ASUU Threatens To Embark On Another 3-month Strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) says it is “thinking of” embarking on another strike.
The union said this via its official Twitter handle monitored by worldtopnewsng.com, in reply to a question.
It had called of its three-month strike in February after reaching an agreement with the federal government over issues bothering on staff welfare among others.
“Thinking of going on another 3 months strike action,” it wrote.
It is not yet clear if the union was joking but the tweet did not go down well with many Nigerians.
While some said the post was “useless”, others used some unprintable words while attacking the union.
