Mikel Arteta appears to have found something that works at Arsenal. The Gunners picked up their second win in a row on Tuesday night as they beat Brighton 1-0 away from home.
David Luiz, Mesut Ozil, Willian and other big names were still missing from the squad, but the young guns stepped up again, just as they had against Chelsea previously.
Arteta kept 10 of the same XI which beat Chelsea, with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang replacing Alexandre Lacazette as the only change, but it was the Frenchman who scored the game’s only goal having come on as a substitute in the second half.

Both sides had opportunities to score and each goalkeeper had some work to do, but it took Lacazette scoring within 21 seconds of his introduction to break the deadlock as he marked a third consecutive game in which he has scored.
Dani Ceballos was introduced late on as Arsenal looked to see the game out and the win has taken them into 13th with 20 points. Now, they’re just six points off Europe and nine clear of the relegation zone.
