Eid-el-Fitr: Egunjobi Receives APC Leaders, Dignitaries On Sallah Day

Shortly, after Eid prayer session marking the end of Ramadan 2021, All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, Islamic clerics, other dignitaries trooped into the family residence of the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, to rejoice with him and express their solidarity for him towards the forthcoming councils elections.

On the visit; clerics from entire Agege LG were led by the Chief Imam of Agege Local Government area, Alhaji Hamzat Olayiwola.

They had special prayer session for the council chairman and also prayed God to grant him another term in office to continue the selfless service he has been rendering since he assumed office without sentiments.

The Arewa Council of Chiefs were led by the Seriki Hausawa, HRH Alhaji Musa Dogo Kadai. They expressed satisfaction with Egunjobi-led administration and pledged their support for him in the next election.

Members of Agege Royal Kingdom, Alhaji Sikiru (Olorogun of Agege Kingdom) and Chief Malowo Akeem (Eletu of Agege Kingdom) had with them Chief Mutairu Olayiwola (Asoju Baale of Gbogunleri/Isale Oja) joined the council chairman to welcome all dignitaries who paid homage.

The political class were around to celebrate with the council boss and reassured him of their unwavering support for him at all times because of his exemplary leadership style, which has given facelift to the entire council area.

In their own remark, former party chairman for Ward A, Alhaji Rauf Salami; Jubilation Team led by Alhaji Bosun Adigun thanked Egunjobi for his erudite leadership, and also showed their total support for him in the coming LG poll.

Various youth group leadership did not hide their supports for Egunjobi with the anthem of “Egunjobi Leekan is.”
