That Foodie Lawyer (TFL) Is Set To Host Its First Food Summit This July

Spread the love

The TFL (That Foodie Lawyer) Brand is a platform that was created in response to the major challenge
regarding access to streamlined and easily accessible information about food. “Food” in this instance
cuts across the entire process of the food chain from production, to handling, distribution, and all the
way to its consumption! A lot of people focus on isolated levels of the food chain, with the biggest
emphasis on food consumption, this creates a gap in the required knowledge expected of a universal
language such as food.

The TFL Virtual Food Summit – What you should know?
Food business owners and entrepreneurs in Nigeria can run successful businesses in Canada via the key
insights and learnings at the TFL virtual summit, which teaches them how to scale their processes
globally. With millions migrating or preparing to move to another country, it is becoming increasingly
important to build a sustainable business model that can help you earn some income.

The Mission
Food is a global phenomenon that has the capability of unifying people irrespective of their background
and nothing cuts across every human sphere in the world, like FOOD. The mission of the TFL Brand is
therefore to build an enlightened food community, that is in turn, empowered to make informed
decisions about the food they produce, purchase, or consume. while having loads of fun! The core
values of the TFL Brand therefore are: Community building, Enlightenment, and Empowerment.

As an immigrant, heritage and the sense of identity reinforced by the African culture is something the
Founder of the TFL brand is passionate about, which also constitutes a pillar of the brand’s core values.
Canada itself is a nation of immigrants and so, everything that borders on connecting people to their
heritage and building a community through food, is a focus for the TFL platform. There can’t be food
without recourse to culture and cultural identification breeds community.

The Vision
The ultimate goal is for TFL platforms to be the go-to hub for quality and trusted information about the
food industry by constantly challenging the status quo through innovative ideas, and changing the
narrative in the world of food.

Azeezat’s recent exposure into the dealings and operations of Canada domiciled food businesses
revealed a gap in easy and streamlined access to valuable information that helps immigrant businesses
set up in an efficient and compliant manner. Having had to painfully close down her food business due

lack of compliance, she can relate with the endless hours of research that goes into finding answers to
all the burning questions regarding setting up right.

As a resourceful person, her instinctive response to this identified gap is to find a way around the
situation that drastically cuts down hours spent on research or money spent on consultations. She is
therefore bringing access to the desired information and resources to a single meeting point: The TFL
Food Summit which will be held on July 11, 2021.

This meeting point is the TFL Food Summit, holding on July 11, 2021. It’s an information-packed event
that is set up with the ultimate goal of helping food entrepreneurs within Canada and beyond, optimize
their food businesses for the global market. This virtual event brings on board seasoned industry
