Nigeria Reports 205 Infections, 4 Fatalities

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have increased from 160,332 it was on Friday to 160537 on Saturday, indicating 205 new infections.
This is according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) daily update on Coronavirus.
NCDC’s data recorded 4 COVID-19 deaths in the country, 439 recovered and were discharged in FCT and Lagos also recorded 96 recoveries.
Giving a breakdown of the fresh infections, the NCDC said Ondo State recorded the highest figure of the day with 33 infections, followed by Lagos State which reported 25 cases.
Others were; FCT (22), Bauchi (21), Akwa Ibom (15), Kaduna (14), Katsina (13), Ogun (13), Rivers (11), Edo (8), Ekiti (4), Imo (4), Kano (3), Nasarawa (2), and Niger (2).
As of Saturday, 13th of March 2021, a total of 2013 persons have lost their lives to the virus in Nigeria, while 144714 patients recovered.
