Sevilla kept hold of the coattails of the leaders in LaLiga Santander with a 2-0 win over Osasuna at El Sadar on Monday night.
Julen Lopetegui’s side took the lead midway through the first half when Diego Carlos rose highest to head in Joan Jordan’s corner.
The visitors had their second just after half time, with Luuk de Jong flicking Munir El Haddadi’s cross inside the far post.
The victory moves Sevilla up into third in the LaLiga Santander table and seven points behind leaders Atletico Madrid. The Andalusians have played a game less than Real Madrid, who are four points ahead of them.
