LeBron James Wants Steph Curry To Join The Lakers

LeBron James and Stephen Curry gifted NBA fans one of basketball’s greatest and most competitive rivalries over the last decade.

They faced off in four consecutive NBA finals, with that series of meetings becoming a classic for fans.

But, other than at All Star events, they’ve never worn the same shirt. At that last All Star event, LeBron chose Curry on his team, and he appears to have gotten a taste for playing with him.

Now James is keen to have the Golden State Warriors star join him in Los Angeles, with the Lakers. The Lakers are already looking into the possibility of signing him, according to Brian Windhorst.

“The All Star weekend became a place for players to recruit others,” explained Windhorst, a journalist. “Steph may be close to a contract extension, but LeBron began recruiting him at the All Star game.”

Curry is contracted with Golden State until June 2022, when he will become a free agent.
