Mourinho’s Side Drop Points

Fulham fought back to frustrate Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and earn a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening.

Spurs led in the first half through Harry Kane, but much of the credit will rightly go to ex-Real Madrid full-back Sergio Reguilon, who provided a pinpoint cross for the Englishman to head home.

Then, as they have so often done this season, Mourinho’s side looked happy with a one-goal advantage and looked to sit on it.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek came close to levelling in the first half with an acrobatic effort, but it wasn’t until late on that Fulham did get back on terms.

Within two minutes of Son Heung-min hitting the post, Ademola Lookman teed up Ivan Cavaleiro to equalise, heading in at the back post.

The draw leaves Spurs sixth in the Premier League, while Fulham stay in the bottom three having now drawn each of their last five Premier League matches.
