Pennetta, Moya and the TV presenter

Grand Slam champion Flavia Pennetta had revealed that she broke up with her longtime boyfriend and retired tennis player Carlos Moya after she found out that he had an affair with the Spanish TV presenter Carolina Cerezuela. Pennetta discussed their relationship in her autobiography Dritto al Cuore.

“I put everything aside to support him,” Pennetta noted. “If you count the times I did it, probably the number is in itself ridiculous.

“My passion was him; I gave myself completely, and I lost my balance …People felt sorry for me and I could not even defend myself.

“It was as if I had lost my taste for things. I was trying to be numb towards life, not to feel pain. I did not even feel physical [pain].”

Becker and the broom cupboard

The Wimbledon champion was given the nickname ‘Boom Boom Becker’ after rumours sparked that he had sex with a woman in a broom cupboard back in 1999.

Becker confirmed that he had sex with the waitress, Angela Ermakova, hours after his pregnant wife went to hospital with contractions.

However, he revealed that this happened on the stairs of a restaurant in London. Eight months later, Ermakova sent him a fax to announce that he would become a father.

Becker initially denied paternity, but after a DNA test confirmed it, he accepted fatherhood.

Schiavone’s gestures

Francesca Schiavone was caught on camera without realising it while making gestures to a spectator during her changeover.

The former Italian tennis player has been vocal on how sex before games has allowed her to thrive on court.

‘For a woman, sex before a match is not only allowed, it is fantastic,” Schiavone once stated.

“It raises your hormone levels and brings advantages to all of your points.

“In recent years I have grown, and my feminine side is a lot more visible. But it is a gift reserved for just a few.”
