Fernandes, Rashford On Target In Manchester United Win Against Brighton

Bruno Fernandes helped inspire Manchester United to come from behind to win 2-1 against Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday night.

Former United striker Danny Welbeck had given the visitors the advantage in the first half, nodding past Dean Henderson at the second attempt.

It took until after the hour for the hosts to respond as Fernandes drove across the penalty area and fed the ball to Marcus Rashford to score.

The Portuguese international was involved in the second goal, too, which came off the head of Mason Greenwood with seven minutes left to play.

The win leaves United 14 points behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League again, having played one game less.
