Mohammed is the son of Dr. M. N Haruna (Walin of Tsaragi). A retired Director from Presidency, Abuja, former Director of DIFRRI, Kwara State and two times former commissioner of works and Commerce and Industry in Kwara State.
His quest for knowledge has taken him to different schools home and abroad.
Mohammed attended FGC staff Nursery and Primary School between 1989 and 1995 for primary education. He proceeded to Government Secondary School (GSS) Ilorin where he obtained Senior Secondary Certificate in 2001.
He earned a B.Tech degree in Geology from Federal University of Technology, Minna. He holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geosciences from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
The 35 years old Tsaragi born politician also obtained Masters in Business Administration from NOUN. He became a Quranic memorizer in year 2000.
The young technocrat is a trained HSE professional from Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria.
He is an alumni of YALI, USA, he studied the following leadership courses in YALI: management strategies for people and resources, design driven entrepreneurship, fundamental of starting and running a business and Understanding human rights.
The seasoned Nupe man has about 10 years working experience in construction, project management, Oil and gas, petroleum engineering and business management.
He worked with National Geosciences Research Laboratory, Kaduna as an Industrial attachee where he was actively involved in mapping, geophysical surveying and Mineral analysis. He joined CCECC a construction company based in Abuja in 2009. His responsibilities in CCECC include drilling, charging, blasting of rocks among others.
Mohammed passion for Petroleum engineering led him to Northwest Petroleum and Gas, Calabar where he worked as a Maintenance Engineer between 2010 and 2012.
He was invited by MOS Limited, Lagos to join their workforce as Petroleum, Environmental Consultant in 2014. While at MOS Limited, he was in-charge of processing/ interpretation of seismic data and volumetric. He also worked on both core and ditch cutting samples on various well samples from Niger Delta.
The Petroleum Geoscientists joined Energy and Mineral Resources, Lagos in 2015 and worked on seismic data from Taranaki Basin, New Zealand which forms part of his MSc thesis in Petroleum Geosciences.
Currently, He is the Managing Director/CEO of Aimurafaty Nigeria Limited, a company that focuses on Geoscience, Environmental and Business Development.
Leadership is in-built for Mohammed because people always want him to lead them, even right from primary school.
In 2000, he was President of Kwara state Secondary Schools Association of Press Clubs.
He served as Chairman, Student Coalition Rebirth and vocal member of Students Union during his undergraduate days at FUT Minna.
The trailblazer has won many leadership and entrepreneurship awards both home and abroad. The latest is African Young Entrepreneurs Empowerment Nigeria Award in 2016. The award was presented by the richest woman in African, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija in Lagos.
Mohammed is a muslim and detribalized Nigerian who relates with people freely irrespective of their religion, creed and tribe.
He is a master of English, Hausa, Nupe and Yoruba languages.
