Eid-el-Fitr: Odunmbaku Greets Muslims, Calls For United Nigeria

As Nigerians join other Muslims worldwide to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the leading chairmanship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos, David Olusegun Odunmbaku, has sent goodwill messages to the faithful.

Odunmbaku in a statement made available to worldtopnewsng.com, urged Muslims to use the opportunity of this period to pray for united Nigeria.

“I join our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I will enjoin them to continue the act of good deeds, sacrifices and closeness to God during the Holy Month of Ramadan.”

“I urge them to continue praying for the country to come out of the current security challenges. I’m optimistic we’ll overcome this period in good faith.”

The Secretary to the Local Government also urged Muslim Ummah to use the opportunity to also pray for the nation to survive the current economic crisis in the land.
