Lisa Banes Dies At 65 After Hit and Run Accident

Actress Lisa Banes has reportedly succumbed to her injuries and died aged 65 after having been hit by a scooter in New York City earlier in June.

Banes was taken to the hospital after having suffered severe head injuries following the hit and run accident, one which took place on June 4.

“The scooter then fled the location, continuing north bound,” stated the NYPD.

“There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.”

Banes’ manager David Williams had previously revealed to CNN that the actress was injured on her way to visit Juilliard, her alma mater, and Lincoln Center Theater.

The famous actress starred in movies such as the ‘Cocktail’ and ‘Gone Girl’, as well as TV shows such as ‘Royal Pains’, ‘Masters of Sex’ and ‘Nashville’.
