Burnley Beat Everton At Home

Everton failed to cope without James Rodriguez as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Burnley at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The former Real Madrid midfielder hasn’t played since the Merseyside derby on February 20 because of a calf problem.
In his absence, Burnley took a two-goal lead inside the first half an hour. Chris Wood opened the scoring before Dwight McNeil added a superb second.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin halved the deficit with a header in the 32nd minute but the hosts failed to find an equaliser before the evening was out.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side now find themselves five points behind fourth-place Chelsea, with a game in hand, in their pursuit of a Champions League place.
