Exclusive! Mohammed Adamu Is Still Fully In Charge As Inspector General Of Police – Sources
Contrary to speculations flying around from some quarters that AIG Zanna Muhammed Ibrahim has been appointed as acting Inspector General of Police by President Muhammadu Buhari, IGP Mohammed Adamu remains in office for now, worldtopnewsng.com can authoritatively report.
Source disclosed to worldtopnewsng.com that Adamu is still fully in charge. “The man (IGP Mohammed Adamu) they are all talking about is in his office doing his work the best way he can, he was in his office last night,” source affirmed.
“I don’t know why people are disturbing themselves, though, the man’s tenure has ended but that doesn’t mean he should leave instantly. It’s at the prerogative of Mr President to extend his tenure if he wants or replace him,” the source concluded.
Another source divulged to our correspondent that IGP Adamu must have known his fate by now. “By now, he must have known the President’s body language, what we heard was President Buhari has asked him to hand over to the most senior officer by end of work yesterday, but IGP was in his office last night. So that tells you that all is still speculations.”
