Businesses owners in Lagos under the umbrella of Badagry chamber of commerce, industries, Mine and Agriculture, (BACCIMA) have distributed Relief support packages.

Speaking with pressmen, at the Flagging off the two day exercise on Friday 10th April 2020, President of the Chamber, Alhaji Fatai Sokunbi said the exercise was a collective social responsibility of the respective donor businesses to their host community.

“As business owners we understand the pains of residents of our community especially at this difficult and challenging time under the Covid-19 lockdown, and we are embarking on this exercise to ease their pains.

“We can’t leave food relief to Government alone. As responsible corporate citizens, we own up to the responsibility to contribute our part to the development of our community and in this instance to give succour to hundreds of families that may otherwise not be reached through similar relief packages”
