Robert Lewandowski was at his most lethal as Bayern Munich ran out 4-0 winners over Stuttgart, despite playing the vast majority of the match with 10 men.

Alphonso Davies was given his marching orders just 12 minutes into the contest at the Allianz Arena, with his yellow card for a challenge on Wataru Endo being upgraded to red after a VAR review.

Fortunately for Bayern, though, their top marksman was in fine form. Lewandowski scored a perfect hat-trick – right foot, left foot, header – before the first half was out.

Serge Gnabry’s goal in between Lewandowski’s first and second meant the hosts went into the break with a four-goal lead.

No goals were added in the second half as Bayern extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to four points over RB Leipzig. As for Lewandowski, he’s netted 35 goals in 25 league games this campaign.
