Tooting Community, Ahmadiyya UK Comes Together For Manchester Attack Victims

The community of Tooting in South-West London came together yesterday evening to show solidarity with the people of Manchester after Monday night’s terror attack at Manchester Arena, in a vigil organised by the local Ahmadiyya Muslim Association.

Mr Ahmed was joined in proceedings by the newly-elected Mayor of Wandsworth, Jim Maddan, along with Wandsworth’s three Members Of Parliament, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan (Tooting), Jane Ellison (Battersea) and Justine Greening (Putney), Tooting Conservative Party Candidate, Dan Watkins and Jaspal Singh from the Khalsa Centre, Tooting, who represented the local Sikh community.

The large crowds who gathered for the vigil heard all of these local representatives speak passionately in support of Manchester and how important it was for the local community to pull together at this time.
