Xavi Hernandez Wins First League Title As Coach With Al Sadd

Xavi Hernandez has won his first league title as a coach, after guiding Al Sadd to the QNB Stars League trophy in Qatar.

Al Sadd’s 3-0 win at Umm Salal meant that they had pulled 13 points clear of second placed Al Duhail with four matches remaining, clinching them the title.

Xavi had recently guided the team to the domestic cup, and the league triumph makes it six in total since he took over as coach in May 2019.

Last year, he won the Qatar Cup, the Supercup, the Emir Cup and the Stars Cup.
