Ahead of Saturday, May 29, 2021, All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for Councillorship and Chairmanship aspirants in Lagos State, Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area Chairmanship aspirant, Kayode Akintomo, has called on the party Chairman, other officials and various stakeholders to do the needful by permitting a level playing ground for all the aspirants.

Akintomo made this known while addressing journalists at his campaign office at Agbado Oke-Odo, Lagos on Friday.

“The events of the last few days had shown the desperation by some aspirants in trying to intimidate the officials of the party to do the bidding of certain aspirants. This is not only barbaric, but undemocratic as against the styles of our leader and father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

“The good news, however, remains, the party officials who are the victims of this victimization refused to allow themselves be cowed. Their steadfastness calls for celebration for the lovers of democracy.”

“We, therefore, call on our party Chairman, other officials and various stakeholders to do the needful by permitting a level playing ground for all the aspirants; we demand the followings. The Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, who is also an aspirant should not be favoured with party machineries. That, all aspirants be allowed equal access to all the party members and stakeholders.”
