The Commissioner Of Police Lagos State, Ag/CP Edgal Imohimi has kept the ball rolling by embarking on series of visitation and patrol the state to guarantee that the police operations arranged for the festive period are been observed by personnel of the command.
One of the areas visited by the CP is the Kirikiri area of Apapa, he further paid an impromptu visit to the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison, Apapa, Lagos where he had a meeting with the Deputy Comptroller, Seye Odutun and other senior officers of the prison.
The Deputy controller who gave the CP a brief tour of the security measures in and around the prison also disclosed that the prison security had a synergy with the police and sister security agencies where he ensures security for his men and inmates of the prison.
Odutun did not fail to mention the robust security presence around Nigeria’s billionaire kidnapper, Evans and others who were summoned in court on Thursday, 31st of August, who is presently remanded in the prison.
The two officers exchanged compliments and readiness to fine tune the current relationship in their official capacity.
