In line with its tradition, the Children Affairs Committee of Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) held its annual Eid-l-Fitri fun fare for the young ones in NASFAT over the weekend in Lagos.
Addressing the children in her opening speech, the Children Affairs Secretary of the Society Alhaja Ganiyat Babalola reiterated the importance of the event which is centred on bonding among children as well as opportunity for the society to show love towards the young ones. She went further to admonish the children on the need for the fear of Allah in all their activities.
In his speech at the event, the President of the Society Engr. Kamil Yomi Bolarinwa represented by the Business Affairs Secretary Alh. Bolaji Usman rejoiced with the children and promised to make asalatu more spiritually and socially beneficial to the young ones.
Part of the activities of the event included quiz competition, train ride, games, Quranic recitation among others.
Highlight of the event were cutting of the Eid-l-Fitri fun fare cake as well as gifts presented to the winners of different competitions by the National Executive members of the society such as the Vice President 2, Alh. AbdulRauf Ayodeji; Ex-Officio, Dr Rahmat Adisa, Membership Secretary, Alh. Lookman Oseni and the Publicity Secretary of the society Alh Banji Busari.
