NASFAT Youth Amir Bags A Prestigious Award

Mr Ismail Abiodun Ibrahim, a teacher with Alaba Primary School, Mushin has emerged the best teacher in Lagos State for 2017.

 

 

Ibrahim, who is the current Youth Amir otherwise called the National Youth Secretary NASFAT came tops in the entire state after a painstaking and rigorous select on processes spanning weeks of oral, written and other forms of assessment starting from his Local Government to his State level.

 

 

Mr Ibrahim attained this feet within the first twelve months of joining the services of Lagos State SUBEB as an Education Officer in 2016.

 

 

Handing over the star prize of a brand new Hyundai Excel to the winner, the Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Mr Ganiyu Sopeyin commended him for his diligence to work, innovativeness and the extra effort he put in his pupils curricula and co-curricula work activities. He therefore enjoined others to emulate these sterling qualities.

 

 

Born on the 26th December, 1983 to the family of Late Alhaji Ibrahim Folorunsho and Mrs. Fatimah Ibrahim of Offa, Kwara state, Ibrahim Ismaila Abiodun sees the teaching profession as his “Occu-Passion” and this is evident in his unflinching commitment to his job and his readiness to always go the extra mile in achieving desired results in his duties.

 

 

Although he was born in Agege Lagos State, an environment, largely associated with infectious hooliganism and radicalism, Ismail grew up as a young man who was well bred on the culture of responsibility and initiative. He attended Irepodun Primary School Agege and Oniwaya High School Agege for his Primary and Secondary education respectively. He later proceeded to the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo where he bagged a Bachelors of Arts (Education) degree in Islamic Studies in 2012. He is about completing his M.A degree in Islamic Studies from the same University.
