In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, 10 Police Officers of the Lagos State Police Command who were awarded for their exemplary discharge of duties and gallantry were also given cash gift.
The Executive Secretary of the Fund Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun during the presentation of the certificate and cash gift urged the Officers to keep up with the good and exemplary work and should endeavor to uphold the trust and dignity reposed in them as representatives of this great country. He also reassured the continual support of the Fund towards the improvement of security in the state especially during this festive season.
Dr. Balogun urged them to see the recognition by the State Governor Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode as a lifelong honor that will take them through their respective career. He admonished then to shun all excesses as they are now good ambassadors’ of the Police Force.
CSP Olusegun Ajamolaya one of the recipients on behalf of the awardees heartily thanked the Lagos State Government, the Fund and the good people of Lagos for their continuous support towards the improvement of security in the State.
He pledged their continuous commitment to their job as it is their responsibility to protect lives and property.
“The gesture by the Fund would further encourage us to do more and also serve as a motivation to other officers in doing their best so as to be recognized and appreciated in the future” CSP Ajamolaya said.
