Wolves Held Leicester To Goalless Draw At Molineux

Leicester City missed the chance to strengthen their position within the Premier League’s top four with a 0-0 draw against Wolves at Molineux.

In a seriously sluggish game, the two best opportunities to open the scoring fell to substitutes towards the end of the second half.

Firstly, Fabio Silva, who had replaced Willian Jose up front, couldn’t squeeze his shot past Kasper Schmeichel when left one-on-one with the Leicester goalkeeper.

Then, in stoppage time, the returning Jamie Vardy met Marc Albrighton’s cross ahead of Leander Dendoncker, but couldn’t direct his header on target.

The draw leaves Leicester four points behind leaders Manchester City in the table before Pep Guardiola’s side travelled to Anfield later on Sunday.
