Fidelity Bank Debunks Viral Assault Video

Fidelity Bank Nigeria Plc has debunked and expressed their position on the social media video featuring an assault on two people at a Fidelity Bank branch in Lagos.

The two individuals featured in the video according to Division Head, Brands and Management of the financial house, Mr Charles Aigbe were suspected of ‘shoulder surfing’ to steal customer card details at the ATM.

Worldtopnewsng.com gathered that the security personnel on duty interceded and they attacked and injured him before the intercession of the Mobile Policemen who are seen in the video.

Aigbe clarified further that with the intervention of the bank security guard the suspects were arrested and handed over to the police for further investigation “no Fidelity Bank official ordered any violence against customers as alleged and there was no incidence of the Branch ATM not dispensing cash”, he noted.

“The matter has been reported to the Police and the suspects have been handed over for prosecution.”
