The inability of many young Nigerians to identify their God’s given talents and put to great use, these untapped potentials for their self-empowerment, has seen many end up being employees, instead of employers of manpower and therefore becoming subjugated and enslaved.

Among the few that chose to rise to the occasion and become successful, through diligence, perseverance, and hard work, especially in the nation’s capital, Abuja is Honourable Abdulrashid M Ujache, an entrepreneur, political grassroots mobilizer, a philanthropist and a developer of skills especially among youths.
Honourable Abdulrashid Ujache is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Medirash Solutions Limited whose passion to assist young minds get their feet in life, has seen him establish over 100 small and medium scale concerns, particularly for young men and women who want to be self-empowered and self-sufficient while those who prefer to venture into agriculture, are provided with adequate support.
Speaking recently with NAIJ NEWS ALERT in the nation’s capital of Abuja, Honourable Ujache, who would seldom draw attention to his philanthropy, disclosed that so far, about fifty youths are beneficiaries of his sponsorship in schools in Nigeria while more than three hundred have been provided with small grants to become self-sufficient in small scale businesses.
The skill empowerment programmes and trainings for youths, according to Honourable Ujache, include poultry and fish farming, barbing salons and many other forms of small scale businesses and also, how to effectively manage their businesses. Such empowerment comes with financial backings packaged as loans which are repayable but at no interest rates to the beneficiaries as such monies are recycled round so that everybody benefits, he said.
Reacting to inquiries as to how he was able to actualize this, the soft spoken Abdulrashid attributed all of his successes to his mentor and friend who made it possible for him to become one of the things that he had asked God to bless him with in life; being able to help others achieve their dream in life and business.
Mentoring him, has come in the person of Her Excellency, Hajia (Barrister) Amina Oyiza Yahaya Bello, wife of His Excellency Amina Oyiza Bello, he Executive Governor of Kogi state.
“Hajia Amina Oyiza Bello, is one woman who has stood as a supportive pillar, friend, mentor and confidant; A woman whose passion to uplift others and make life meaningful for everybody, no matter who or what you are”, he says.
Speaking on the successes of his state governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Medirash Chief Executive describes the Kogi state governor as a man who needs the support of the people for him to achieve his purposeful developmental strides in repositioning the state.
According to Ujache, Governor Yahaya Bello does not believe in doing things the old way and this has earned him the wrath of the older generation politicians. His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is one man who has chosen to plant Kogi state on a firmer ground which will stand the test of time in the annals and history of the Confluence state.
Kogi state, certainly is in safe hands and the Governor has refused to be distracted by the antics of some persons who are hell bent on ruining the reputation and good deeds of the man whose ascension into office, was purely divine, he says.
“It can never be business as usual in Kogi state under the watch of His Excellency, Alhaji (Dr.) Amina Yahaya Adoza Bello and it is my firm belief that all that is required for the state to become greater, is the collective support and understanding from all Kogites, old and the young inclusive”, says Honourable Abdulrashid Ujache.
Speaking further on the developmental strides of MediRash Solutions Limited, Honourable Ujache disclosed that, despite the economic challenges confronting the nation, Nigerians should look inwards especially in the areas of agriculture which, if properly harnessed, is capable of generating enough resources that would cater for the needs of the country. As a nation, we have become too over dependent on oil, thereby, abandoning other natural resources that are God given to us as a people.
“Nigeria is abundantly blessed with enough mineral, natural and human resources but all that is required is the capacity and capability to harness all of these gifts of God to us a nation”, say Ujache.
“Youths are the key to the development of any nation and if the youths can be gainfully engaged or employed, certainly, there will be stability and peace as many will be able to reject being conscripted into violence, be it political or crime”, says the Medirash Solutions CEO.
Becoming successful in whatever one chooses to embrace, takes determination, perseverance and most especially, Allah’s Grace. Fear of Allah in all you do is very important.
On what are his projections, politically, Honourable Abdulrashid says he sees himself as a grassroots mobiliser and a faithful supporter of the Executive Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the man who is poised to build Kogi state ad make it rank among the best developed, managed and secure state in the federation. But, every man or woman must believe that, everything works according to the plans and workings of God for man.
