Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 226 new cases of the novel coronavirus pandemic worldtopnewsng.com can confirm.
In an official tweet by the NCDC, Nigeria now has 6, 401 confirmed cases of the deadly virus as at Tuesday.
Lagos lead the way with a whopping 131 cases from the 226 fresh cases added on Tuesday.
As at 23:39 on Tuesday, Nigeria had recorded 1, 734 recoveries and a total of 192 dead cases so far.
