Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 288 new cases of the novel coronavirus pandemic worldtopnewsng.com can confirm.
In an official tweet by the NCDC, Nigeria now has 5, 445 confirmed cases of the deadly virus as at Friday.
Lagos lead the way with a whopping 179 cases from the 288 fresh cases added on Friday.
As at 23:47 on Friday, Nigeria had recorded 1, 320 recoveries and a total of 171 dead cases so far.
