How Panel Disqualified Osolana From APC Primaries Over Alleged Forgery

Ahead of Saturday, May 29, 2021, All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for Councillorship and Chairmanship aspirants in Lagos State, the APC Panel has revealed the details of the reason for disqualification of one of Agege LG aspirants, Sola Osolana, Worldtopnewsng exclusively report.

More details emerged from the Panel sitting at the party secretariat, Acme Road, Lagos after Sola posted many lies of being cleared to contest this weekend party primary on his Facebook page after Worldtopnewsng report on his disqualification saga.

Sources within the party revealed to Worldtopnewsng that Osolana was disqualified based on alleged certificates forgery where he presented two different certificates with different names.

“I don’t know why people are like this, for years, he did not think of ratifying the differences in the names on his certificates and now he presented them to us just like that. We can’t take that until he rectifies and harmonizes them together,” one of the sources said.

Another source explained that: “He’s not a serious person, how can he present two certificates with two different names, now he’s going for affidavit today (Thursday) which is less than 72 hours to the party primaries.”

As of the time of filing this report, the Osolana profile at the APC secretariat remains not cleared, the appeal committee headed by former Deputy Governor, Femi Pedro, has only cleared four Chairmanship and nine Councillorship aspirants.

Those cleared for Chairmanship position after their appeal include Peter Omotayo Ajayi (Ejigbo); Bukola Damilola Ajaja (Itire-Ikate); Olufunke Rekiya Hassan (Onigbongbo) and Akingbola Olalekan (Ifelodun).

Councillors are Isiaka Kazeem (Itire-Ikate); Adekoya Oluwatosin Muinat; Babalola Emmanuel Oluwaseun; Saka Yusuf Adejonwo; Fadele Olarenwaju Adekunle; Abdul-Rasheed Abidemi Adeyemi and Ola Rilwan Lekan (Ajeromi-Ifelodun).

Others are Akintoye Agoro Nurudeen (Amuwo-Odofin) and Onakoya Bidemi Rose (Ajeromi-AIfelodun).

Osolana’s political leaders who have been fighting tooth and nail with the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, over the leadership role of Agege Federal constituency sighted at the party secretariat on Wednesday according to source, are a member of the House of Representatives representing Agege Federal Constituency Babatunde Adejare; member, Lagos State House of Assembly representing constituency 02, Yinka Ogundimi; Secretary of Transportation of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kayode Opeifa and former member, House of Representatives, Olakunle Amunikoro.
