World Teachers Day: Etsako East Chairman Makes Case For Teachers
...Honour and celebrate teachers everywhere she urges
The Performing Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council Hon. (Princess) Benedicta Attoh has called on everyone in the society to honour and celebrate teachers anywhere and everywhere as the society would have been a disaster without them.
As the World mark Teachers Day today, we owe them the responsibility of celebrating the amazing work that the educators are doing by way of mentoring, inspiring and moulding characters in society. Their pace may be slow but their impact is sure and cannot be denied. They have made a huge difference in the lives of Children who are the future leaders.
Attoh who commended teachers in Nigeria for their role in nation-building also described them as the bedrock of the development of any nation as no other profession can metamorphose without the input of teachers.
Attoh in a statement issued by her Chief Press Secretary Benjamin Atu, to mark the 2023 World Teachers Day Celebration, Attoh commended teachers in Etsako East for their commitment to teaching and learning in public and private schools, saying the government of Edo State and the local government will continue to place a high value on the welfare of teachers and students just as she demonstrated in the just concluded quiz competition in Agenebode yesterday.
The Etsako East Council Boss further assured that the Obaseki’s administration is committed to improving the environment for teaching and learning, through various educational reforms which she said, has put Edo State ahead of others.
