The Weeknd Cleans Up At The 2021 Billboard Music Awards: All The Winners and Nominees
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards took place on May 23, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, presented by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. The star of the night was undoubtedly The Weeknd, with the Super Bowl half-time show performer sweeping up ten awards across the various categories he was nominated in.
The gala is regarded as one of the biggest and most prestigious award ceremonies in the world of music, and there was no shortage of A-listers picking up prizes at the California event on Sunday.

The Weeknd cleans up at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards
The biggest winner of the night was The Weeknd, who won ten out of the 16 awards in which he was nominated.
“I do not take this for granted,” The Weeknd said after winning top artist.
The Canadian was quite surprisingly left out of the nominations for a Grammy in March earlier this year, and his incredible achievements at the Billboard Music Awards vindicated his true talent.
‘Top Hot 100 artist’ and ‘Top Hot 100 song’ for ‘Blinding Lights’ were among his multiple victories, adding to the incredible year he has already had which began with performing at the Super Bowl half-time show.
Rosalia misses out on ‘Top Latin Female Artist’ award
Spanish singer Rosalia narrowly missed out on the award for ‘Top Latin Female Artist’, with Karol G eventually scooping that particular gong.
The likes of BTS, Doja Cat and the Jonas Brothers also featured prominently among the winners.
