#EdoDecides: Primate Ayodele Preaches Peace, Urges Obaseki, Ize-Iyamu To Shun Violence

Ahead of Edo gubernatorial election, Servant of God of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged the candidates of both major parties, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and All progressives Congress (APC), Godwin Obaseki and Osagie Ize-Iyamu respectively to embrace a peaceful election process.

The election which is set to take place Saturday, September 19, 2020, has brought tension in the political atmosphere of Edo state.

Primate Ayodele during an exclusive phone chat with worldtopnewsng.com stated that instead of a violent election that will further truncate Nigeria’s democracy, peace is a better option “Obaseki and Ize-Iyamu are gentlemen, they should embrace peaceful election process,” he said.

He explained further that whoever loses in the election should accept his fate and move on.

The seer also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a free and fair election in the state.

Recall that Primate Elijah Ayodele had said the PDP and its candidate, Godwin Obaseki will emerge winner if there’s no manipulation.
